Eulogies go on, traffic stops with rain

LAHORE: Heavy rain lashed the city on Thursday and flooded many roads, thinning and blocking traffic in most of the city. The Met Office recorded 66 millimetres of rain in the city.

According to Weather.com, chances of rain today (Friday) are 90 percent. It also forecast thunderstorms for the next four days. The maximum temperature on Thursday reached 34 degrees Celsius and minimum was at 24 degrees Celsius. The forecast showed that today, maximum temperature would be at 32 degrees Celsius and minimum at 23 degrees Celsius, on Saturday, maximum temperature would be at 34 degrees Celsius and minimum at 24 degrees Celsius. On Sunday and Monday, the maximum temperature will reach 35 degrees Celsius whereas the minimum temperature will be at 24 degrees Celsius on Sunday and 25 degrees Celsius on Monday.

Humidity in the city was recorded at 78 percent and it would be at 84 percent today, 72 percent tomorrow (Saturday), 68 percent on Sunday and 69 percent on Monday.

The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy weather and chances of rain for today (Friday). It recorded the maximum temperature at 31 degrees Celsius and minimum temperature at 22 degrees Celsius on Thursday. The humidity was at 54 percent. The Met Office also predicted that the maximum temperature today (Friday) would be at 34 degrees Celsius and the day would be partly cloudy with chances of rain.

BBC weather reported Thursday’s maximum temperature at 36 degrees Celsius and minimum at 26 degrees Celsius. According to the forecast for today and the next three days, the temperature would not exceed 34 degrees Celsius till Monday and the days would have thundery showers. The maximum temperature will be at 34 degrees Celsius today, 30 degrees Celsius on Saturday, 31 degrees Celsius on Sunday and 29 degrees Celsius on Monday. The minimum temperature would be at 26 degrees Celsius today, on Saturday and Sunday and would be at 25 degrees Celsius on Monday.

MSN weather reported the maximum temperature on Thursday at 36 degrees Celsius and minimum at 24 degrees Celsius. It said the day saw rain and it would also pour today but the next three days would be mostly fair. The forecast predicted that today, the temperature could reach a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius and would drop no more than 24 degrees Celsius. It said that on Saturday, the maximum temperature would be at 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum at 26 degrees Celsius. On Sunday, the maximum temperature would be at 37 degrees Celsius and minimum at 27 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature on Monday will be at 40 degrees Celsius and minimum at 26 degrees Celsius.
